Release 16
Full-team access and consistent playbook fields
Build player and staff access from your roster, manage departures, and share playbooks on the designer’s white field canvas.
Added
- Separate Player Access and Coach Access Excel templates support roster import, validation previews, access levels, direct edits, and current-roster exports.
- Email-bound activation verifies the invited account. Players invited without an email can claim a private link and wait for head-coach approval; roster names are never passwords.
- Team lifecycle controls support suspension, archiving, ownership recovery, retained exports, closure and restoration. Administrators review account cleanup and team deletion separately, with retention and shared-account safeguards.
Improved
- Team-only accounts open the player or staff workspace their coach approved. Refresh access lets a player check for approval from Team Portal.
- Team references and account lifecycle labels help administrators identify related accounts in Clerk. Queued operations retain failures for retry and report worker health.
- Play views and exports share the designer’s field drawing, including yard-line spacing, one-yard hash marks, and readable sideline numbers. White is the default canvas for play viewing and designer exports.
Fixed
- Sign-in and signup preserve a valid invitation return link, including when switching between the two forms.
- Read-only staff cannot write through playbook auto-seeding. Suspension and removal end team access independently of later account cleanup.
- Previously released playbooks receive the corrected field presentation when viewed or downloaded, while preserving their published players, routes and assignments. AI play previews use the same renderer instead of the older 00 field.
