Is CoachGrind free?
Yes. CoachGrind is currently in beta testing with real coaches and is free for now. A free beta account includes one sport. Paid subscriptions are planned and are not available to purchase.
What will paid plans cost?
Planned subscriptions start at $15 per month or $150 per year for one coach and one sport, and $24 per month or $240 per year for both sports. Team pricing is planned from $39 per month or $390 per year. These are proposed prices, not active offers; final pricing and limits may change before launch.
Can I analyze game film?
Video upload and AI film analysis are planned. They are not available in the current beta. FieldVision and CourtVision preview plays you draw; they do not analyze uploaded game footage.
Can I use both sports on a free account?
A free account includes one sport, selected during setup. Choose the sport you coach to open its designer, playbooks, and coaching tools.
Can I use CoachGrind without AI?
Yes. All manual drawing tools are available for football and basketball. Draw and edit plays yourself, use 3D previews, organize your playbook, and export PDFs. AI is optional and is not required to use those tools.
What can CoachGrind AI help with?
When enabled for your workspace, AI can help generate plays and sets, analyze the current drawing, and apply requested revisions in Auto or Agent mode. Basketball analysis includes the full frame sequence. Chat provides coaching advice; you stay in charge of the final play.
How does the 3D preview work?
Draw a football play or basketball set, then open it in FieldVision or CourtVision. Review player movement, spacing, and timing from different camera angles before taking it to practice.
Can I print my playbook?
Yes. Both sports support playbook PDFs and diagram exports. Football also includes call sheets, scout cards, and wristbands; basketball includes game plans and scouting reports.
Do I need to install an app?
CoachGrind runs in your browser. A desktop or tablet gives you room to design; you can also review coaching material on your phone. 3D playback depends on your device and browser.
